Watch all September releases for Rs. 75 on India’s National Cinema Day

According to the multiple reports making rounds on the internet, there is a lucrative offer coming for all the moviegoers in India. Interestingly, as per the reports, the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) as well as cinemas across the country have also decided to celebrate a ‘National Cinema Day’ in India on September 16. The day will be observed in celebration of the successful reopening of theaters across the country. Interestingly, movie tickets will cost just Rs. 75 at more than 4,000 theaters across India.

Reports claim that the list of those 4,000+ outlets will include major chains like PVR, INOX, Cinépolis, Carnival, Miraj and Citypride, Asian, Mukta A2, Movietime, Wave, M2K, and Delite, among many others. However, additional taxes imposed on purchases made through online third-party apps or websites are not included in the price.

Speaking about the successful reopening of theaters after the pandemic, a statement from MIA was published by the Times of India, which read, “The first quarter of the Fiscal Year 2023 has recorded impressive numbers among cinema operators on the back of global and local tent poles that resonated with the Indian audience. The quarter was marked by the release of some of the biggest domestic hits like KGF: Chapter 2, RRR, Vikram, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Hollywood hits like Doctor Strange and Top Gun: Maverick.

For the unversed, India is not the only country to celebrate the National Cinema Day. Earlier, US and UK also announced to offer movie tickets for a price.
