Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar will be starring in The Ladykiller. Even before their first offering releases in the theatres, the duo will reunite to star in Mudassar Aziz’ comedy next which is tentatively titled Meri Patni Ka Remake. For the same, the actors have reached London and will kick off their shoot, today.
As per a daily, a major portion of the film will be shot in the UK with Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar over the next month. Arjun and Bhumi will start shooting this project post-September 12 and will be shooting in and around London for about 30 days straight.
Following this schedule, they will shoot in Mumbai and plan on shooting in some other cities in India too. The untitled romantic comedy features both in supremely fun and entertaining roles. Rumours have it that this project is set to be directed by Mudassar Aziz. While there have been no confirmations about this project, the industry has been speculating that this is a project to watch out for because it has an interesting cast and dabbles in a genre that is a huge crowd pleaser! It is speculated that Rakul Preet Singh is the second female lead on the project.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani under his banner Pooja Entertainment, this marks Bhumi Pednekar’s second project with Mudassar Aziz after Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019).
Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar’s The Ladykiller has already been wrapped. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. The Ajay Bahl directorial is presented by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Karma Media & Entertainment.
