Radhika Madan opens up about the premiere of her film Sanaa at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival; says, “I am speechless”

Radhika Madan has represented Indian Cinema not once but twice this year with two of her upcoming films impressing the global audience at premieres. After Kacchey Limbu garnered appreciation at the Toronto International Film Festival, her next film Sanaa is making news at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

It is a special moment for Radhika Madan who marked her third International Film Festival release recently. While her first feature film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota won hearts and awards at the Toronto International Film Festival, Radhika proved her mettle yet again with Kacchey Limbu at TIFF, and now with the global premiere of Sanaa at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. Attended by the majority of non-Indians, the film festival in Estonia whole-heartedly accepted Sanaa and Radhika Madan’s character was inundated with praises. Radhika revealed that she was left stunned at the response to her performance.

Expressing her gratitude, Radhika Madan shared, “I am truly honoured, humbled, and blessed to have my work acknowledged and appreciated, not only in India but also across the globe, it is really unbelievable. It feels like just yesterday that I was at the TIFF for Kacchey Limbu and today I’m at yet another prestigious film festival representing one of the most special films of my life. I am speechless, the response has been surreal and overwhelming, I feel more excited and confident than ever for the Indian release of Sanaa now.”

Radhika Madan has showcased her versatility since the inception of her journey and has delivered some experimental and unique characters in films like Mard Ko Dard Nahi HotaPataakhaAngrezi MediumShiddat among others. Having wrapped five projects already this year, Radhika is now shooting for her sixth. Talking about her upcoming projects, the actress will next be seen in Aasman Bharadwaj’s Kuttey which also stars Arjun Kapoor and Tabu. Besides Kacchey Limbu and Sanaa, the actress has Soorarai Pottru remake and Homi Adajania’s next, along with Happy Teacher’s Day too in the pipeline.
