Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs: Veteran actress Jaya Prada touches a contestant’s feet

Being one of the longest-running singing reality show of Zee TV, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has been ruling the hearts of audiences for almost three decades now. The show further introduced another platform to give young singing prodigies a chance to shine on the grandest stage. And now with the ninth season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs already on air, we get to witness a fresh set of contestants along with music stalwarts like Shankar Mahadevan, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan as judges. Bharti Singh is an entertaining host who keeps the mood light for one and all. While the show currently features top 10 contestants fighting it out for the trophy, this weekend the viewers will have a gala time as veteran actress Jaya Prada will be seen gracing the special episode.

The episode is expected to be a special one dedicated to the yesteryear Bollywood star, as it is all about ‘Celebrating 50 years of Jaya Prada’. While all the contestants will be giving their best performances and it seems that during the shoot of the episode, Jaya Prada was impressed with the performance of Atanu and Aarohi who sang the song ‘Gori Hain Kalaiyan’ (Aaj Ka Arjun) and ‘Uii Amma Uii Amma’ (Raja Babu) and it won the actress’ heart. While the first track was picturized on Jaya Prada and the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, the second one featured Karisma Kapoor and Govinda.

After the performance, all the judges and Jaya Prada couldn’t resist themselves coming on stage and appreciating them. But that’s not it, after complimenting contestant Atanu, she even touched his feet and admired his soulful voice. This moment will surely leave you all in awe.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs airs on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Zee TV.
