Salman Khan beats Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas to have the most-watched movies of the decade

With the end of 2019, a decade has come to an end. There are many lists doing the rounds which give us rundown of the best films of the decade based on the box-office collections. However, it is not only box-office numbers but how much people watched it or liked it that makes a film hit. A recent report in BoxofficeIndia.com provided us with the list of the most watched films of the decade based on how much those films were watched plus its theatrical footfalls and satellite impressions.
While Prabhas’ ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ tops the list, it is Salman Khan who dominates the category by occupying four of the ten spots in the list. Salman Khan’s movies namely, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Sultan’ were ones amongst the most-watched movies of the decade.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chennai Express’ too made it to the list on the 10th spot.

Actor Tushar Kapoor recently took to his Twitter handle to express his happiness on being part of ‘Golmaal Again’ which is also part of the most-watched movies of the decade. He wrote, ‘Proud to be a part of the #5 film of the last decade, wherein 2 are dubbed south films, based on theatrical and satellite tv success! @GolmaalMovie #golmaalagain @ajaydevgn @RSPicturez #RohitShetty’
