Coronavirus outbreak: Amitabh Bachchan joins hands with UNICEF to raise awareness

As the number of people infected by Coronavirus in the country is on a rise, all authorities as well as many public figures are into the mission of sending out the correct information and raising awareness. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has also joined hands with UNICEF, and recorded a message suggesting preventive measures.

On his Twitter handle, he shared a handful of photos, and wrote, “Getting set to advocate the preventions necessary about CoVID 19 , … this is for UNICEF, and the Health Ministry of GOI .. the message should be out soon ..Be safe .. be careful”.

Earlier, Big B also shared a video on Twitter, wherein he conveys his message with a humorous take and explains how so many people are sitting at home instead of working and are bearing losses. “We should try doing everything that is been suggested to prevent the virus from spreading,” he wrote. Two days back, World Health Organisation (WHO) announced Coronavirus as a pandemic, and numerous Bollywood stars including Parineeti Chopra and Kartik Aaryan took to social media to urge everyone to stay safe.
