On World Health Day, Bhumi Pednekar pens a note of thanks for healthcare workers

This year’s World Health Day is being marked in the midst of a global health crisis wherein our healthcare workers continue to be the front-line soldiers, saving millions of lives. To observe the day, Bollywood stars are coming forward and thanking them for their service. Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram to share a touching post for all the healthcare givers.

“Health is Wealth. On #WorldHealthDay here’s thanking all our doctors, primary health care givers ,medical staff and all front line workers and their families. Thank you for working tirelessly to keep us safe and we promise to do our bit by staying home isolated and following protocol #indiafightscorona,” she wrote.

Apart from Bhumi, actors like Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sara Ali Khan also posted about the day, emphasising on the importance of wellness and good health.

Bhumi’s last outing Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship did not fare well at the box office. The actor will be next seen in Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare and is also gearing up to play an IAS officer in his forthcoming film Durgavati.
