Brahmastra Box Office Estimate Day 4: Passes the crucial Monday test; headed for Rs. 15.50 crores on Day 4

After a record-breaking opening weekend of Rs. 121 crores at the Indian box office, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra is headed for a strong Monday. According to early estimates, the movie has collected in the range of Rs. 14.50 to 16.50 crores on its fourth day taking the four-day total collection to Rs. 137 crores. It will zoom into the Rs. 150 crore club at the box office in just five days, thereby becoming the third Ranbir Kapoor film to enter this club after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Sanju.

The movie has held its ground in the national multiplex chains, with the IMAX version clocking over 50 percent occupancy through the day. The single screens were also steady with a drop in the vicinity of 50 to 52 percent from the opening day on the collection front, as the occupancy drop was around 45 percent. The prices have dropped by around 10 percent from Friday, so this is overall a good hold for the film.

Brahmastra has now headed for an opening week of around Rs. 175 crores and it should hit the Rs. 200 crore club by Sunday. The above estimate is for all languages and the higher it goes from the Rs. 15 crore mark, the better the hold. These are early estimates based on limited samples received, and the actuals in the morning can be marginally higher or lower too.

Brahmastra‘s performance so far is very good and if the film continues the momentum, it is sure to motivate the stakeholders to make the second part sooner than expected. The overseas performance is also encouraging, and the film will soon enter the Rs. 100 crore club in the international belt.
