Debutant Karthik. K is ready to hone his most ambitious project, and the subject deals with the economic fugitives of India. Karthik who was associated with Director Shankar and was a part of landmark films like Shivaji, Aparichit, and 2.0 will now debut with a Pan India star cast which will be dubbed in multiple languages and will have a theatrical release.
The film is scheduled to go on floor in mid-November in Mumbai, India, and then, the entire shoot will commence in various parts of the UK & other European Countries. The film in question is being produced by Kalol Das, Vakil Khan, Mihir Mutta & Prateebha Vyas. The untitled venture shows the disparity in how the common man is harrowed with legalities if he does not pay his EMI’s on time while economic fugitives like Vijay Mallya enjoy a lavish luxurious lifestyle in European countries even after looting banks and fleeing our country.
Sources close to the unit also state that the lead antagonist of the film will be seen living life king-size surrounded by models having yacht parties, and driving high-end cars having private jets. When coaxed about more details of the film, the makers were tight-lipped and did not intend on divulging more details but we were told they have a very interesting cast on board and film roles mid-November.
