Sachin Tendulkar plays football with Ayushmann Khurrana; wishes him for next film An Action Hero

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who is busy promoting his upcoming high-octane entertainer An Action Hero, was recently in Delhi along with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar for the World Childrens Day event organized by UNICEF India.

Sachin, the UNICEF Regional Goodwill Ambassador and Ayushmann, who is UNICEF’s Celebrity Advocate, indulged in a friendly football match at Delhi’s Tyagraj Stadium along with kids from different parts of the country, highlighting the importance of equality and inclusivity.

Ayushmann, who’s a true-blue cricket fanatic, has been a die-hard admirer of Sachin and for him to share the same stage as Sachin and to play with him has truly been one of his most cherished moments. To add on to this, Ayushmann was in for a pleasant surprise when the God of Cricket himself extended his good wishes to the actor for the release of his upcoming film.

At the event’s presentation ceremony Sachin said, “Ayushmann Khurrana’s new film An Action Hero is releasing soon. I give him all my best wishes for it.” Ayushmaan also took to his Instagram handle to share how honored he felt meeting the legend. “What an honour to be associated with @unicefindia. My second year and my idol @sachintendulkar’s 20th! A lot to learn from the G.O.A.T.,” he wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, speaking about the film, Khurrana previously said, “An Action Hero is a genre breaker for me. It is different from my staple genre of social comedy and there is no message in it. There is pure thrill. It is a roller coaster ride.”

Directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar, An Action Hero is all set to release on December 2, 2022.
