SAB TV’s comedy serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is very popular among the audience even after so many years. A new update has come about the show, which is related to Bapuji i.e. Amit Bhatt. The actor got hurt on the set during the shooting after which the doctor advised the actor to rest.
For the unversed, Amit Bhatt plays the role of Jethalal’s father Champak Chacha in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. If a report by ETimes is something to go by then close sources told them that he had to run while performing a scene on the set, in which his balance deteriorated. After which suddenly he fell. The actor got hurt in this. He received immediate medical attention and has been taking rest.
Thus, Amit Bhatt is not shooting for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah due to the injury. The makers have also extended their support and want him to come on the sets only after he is completely recovered.
Talking about the show, it has been running on TV for 14 years. The fans of this show are people of all ages. Jethalal, Babita ji and Dayaben are quite popular in this. Although Dayaben has been missing from the show for a long time. It is also India’s longest-running sitcom.
