Ever since Prakash Jha’s OTT debut Aashram featuring Bobby Deol was released, there was a lot of buzz around it as the audience was impressed by the actor’s performance. Post the release of the web show, fans were eagerly waiting for Booby’s next projects. Thus, here is an update for his fans related to his upcoming film, Shlok: The Desi Sherlock.
On Friday, the Bollywood actor took to his verified social media handle and dropped a bunch of photos to announce the wrap of his forthcoming film. In the photos, he can be seen shooting in the middle of a sea with the director Kunal Kohli and a few crew members.
Instagramming the multiple-picture post, Deol wrote a short yet sweet caption, which read, “And it’s a wrap for #Shlok ???? Had a wonderful time working with the A-team, some of the most amazing people I’ve worked with.” Along with Kunal he also tagged the leading lady of the project, singer-songwriter Ananya Birla. Reacting to the post, Ananya wrote, “what a great time. Can’t wait.”
Meanwhile, a section of his Insta fan took to the comments section and flooded it with red-heart emojis. Many also wished him all the best.
For the unversed, Bobby had started shooting for the upcoming project in September this year.
Coming to the professional front, Bobby was last seen in the third season of his popular web series Aashram. It started streaming on MX Player on June 3, 2022. The crime drama web show also features Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, and Anupriya Goenka in pivotal roles.
