The National Youth Day is being celebrated on January 12 that is today, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. While netizens have flooded the internet with motivational quotes and notes dedicated to the youth of the country, actor Ajay Devgn has also shared a thoughtful message with his Instagram followers along with some unseen photos of him during his youth days.
The video montage shared on Ajay’s verified Insta handle, gave a sense of nostalgia to fans. The video tracks the growth of Ajay from being a child to him being a grown-up man. Fans get to see a bunch of his childhood pictures, along with his dad Veeru Devgan. The compilation also includes some BTS shots from the sets of his films and photoshoots.
Instagramming the video post, the Baadshaho actor wrote, “Youth is when you lay the foundation for a solid future for all your beliefs & dreams. You are the ones with stars in your eyes and hope in your heart. Even as you metamorphose, make sure your ideals remain rock solid,” followed by a couple of hashtags reading “YOLO” and “National Youth Day.” For the unversed, YOLO stands for “You only Live Once.” The post indeed took a section of Instagram users to a trip down the memory lane. “Time Machine so fast,” wrote a fan while another called it, “inspiration”.
Coming to the professional front, the 53-year-old actor was last seen in Drishyam 2, which was released in November 2022. The Abhishek Pathak directorial went on to become Devgn’s second-highest grossers film. While Shriya Saran, Tabu, and others return with their respective characters, Akshaye Khanna entered the Drishyam series as a cop.
Ajay has a bunch of projects in his kitty, including Bholaa and Maidaan. Besides these, he will soon gear up for the second instalment of Raid, as per a report by Times Of India.
