Karan Johar celebrates Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan record-breaking opening; says, “Love forever trumps hate”

Shah Rukh Khan finally returned to the silver screen after four long years with his latest release Pathaan. The spy-thriller has left the audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Not only moviegoers, but fans and some of the most renowned names from the film industry extended their support to the film, including Kangana Ranaut, Anurag Kashyap, Ajay Devgn, and more. Joining the squad, filmmaker and SRK’s friend Karan Johar has also given a shout-out to Pathaan and its record-breaking box office performance.

On Thursday, a day after Pathaan’s release, KJo took to his Instagram story section and dedicated a brief write-up to Shah Rukh Khan and the team of Pathaan. Karan shared a still of SRK as Pathaan and wrote, “Hits beyond a century!!! 100 crores and above in 1 day!”

He further added, “Goat Mega Star SRK visionary and legendary YRF and Adi.. Sid Anand Deepika John!!! Wow.” He concluded by writing, “Love forever trumps Hate! Mark this Date…”

As mentioned above, Anurag Kashyap also watched Pathaan and gave his review. While talking to the media after attending a screening of Pathaan, Anurag had said, “Shah Rukh Khan has never looked this beautiful and we came to watch him. Such dangerous action, this is the first of a kind role for Shah Rukh. I don’t think he has done anything like it before.”

Meanwhile, before the release of the Siddharth Anand directorial, Ajay Devgn had also lauded the advance booking report of Pathaan.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead along with Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia as important supporting characters. Apart from them, Salaman Khan also made a cameo appearance in the film as Tiger. Talking about its box office report of day 1, it has managed to collect Rs. 57 cr (Hindi Rs. 55 cr + Tamil & Telugu Rs. 2 cr) in India.
