Tom Cruise-starrer Top Gun: Maverick treats fans with a 3-hour version of sizzling shirtless beach scene

Tom Cruise’s blockbuster action flick Top Gun: Maverick is here to give a hot holiday season treat to the fans!

To celebrate the film’s debut on Paramount+, on Friday, the streamer + dropped a three-hour loop version of the blockbuster’s infamous and sizzling beach scene which featured Tom Cruise, Miles Teller and Glen Powell sweaty and shirtless as they played football.

“The weather outside is frightful, but #ParamountPlus is heating up your holiday with everyone’s favorite #TopGun: Maverick moment,” the streamer tweeted.

Releasing thirty-six years after the first film in the franchise, Top Gun: Maverick features Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly and Miles Teller in pivotal roles. The legacy sequel not only received rave reviews from critics but also became the eleventh highest-grossing film worldwide this year. It became the first film post-COVID to join the billion-dollar club internationally and is amongst the highest-earning sequels of all time.

With Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reprising their roles as Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell and Admiral Tom respectively, Top Gun: Maverick follows Pete’s journey as a test pilot and flight instructor, who has been assigned to train a group of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission. Initially reluctant to take up the job, Maverick agrees at the behest of his old colleague and friend Ice.

But amidst a life-threatening mission, Maverick is forced to confront the ghosts from his past, when he encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.” The film was recently made available on Amazon’s Prime Video for streaming from December 26 onwards.

Top Gun: Maverick is now streaming on Paramount+. Prime Video members in India can now stream the film on the service.
