A day ago, social media was abuzz with birthday wishes being sent out to one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema, Rajinikanth. Fondly known as the Thalaivar (leader in Tamil), the megastar received wishes from all across the globe including Bollywood superstars which included his fans and co-workers. And now, giving a glimpse of his 72nd birthday celebrations was his daughter and filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth. She took to social media to share an adorable photo of the grandfather along with his grandsons Yatra and Linga.
It seems that the megastar wanted to keep his birthday celebrations simple! Aishwarya shared a photo of her father, ‘birthday boy’ Rajinikanth, who was dressed in a simple white shirt and black pants as he posed with his grandsons with a broad smile. Readers may be aware that Aishwarya, who was married to Tamil superstar Dhanush, has two sons with the actor, Yatra and Linga. While the filmmaker often shares photos of her kids as well as her father, this one was special as it was captured it on his birthday. Along with the picture-perfect photo of the patriarch and his grandsons, the caption read, “Cannot capture something more beautiful.. Cannot caption some such bonds.. My birthday boy with my boys ! #grandfatherlove #grandsonsrock.”
On the work front, Aishwarya Rajinikanth is currently busy with the film Lal Salaam featuring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is gearing up for Jailer. On the day of his birthday, producers of the film Sun Pictures released the first look teaser of the actor’s character Muthuvel Pandian on social media. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, also features Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar.
