The much talked about action extravaganza, Baaghi 3 hit screens yesterday. Starring Tiger Shroff the film directed by Ahmed Khan witnessed a massive release across 4400 screens in the domestic market. With immense hype surrounding the film, trade expectations were that Baaghi 3 would open with a flying start.
In this box office report we take a look at the opening day collections of Baaghi 3 while comparing the same to Tiger Shroff’s previous releases. Though Baaghi 3 was expected to open on a high note, the coronavirus scare kept a major chunk of theatre going audience away, due to this, the film managed to draw in Rs. 17.50 cr on its opening day. However, despite the business falling short of expectations Baaghi 3 has managed to surpass Tiger Shroff’s previous release Student of the Year 2 that had collected Rs. 12.06 cr to become the actor’s third highest opening day grosser. If that wasn’t all, Baaghi 3 has also surpass the business of Tiger’s other releases as well like Baaghi that had collected Rs. 11.94 cr, A Flying Jatt that collected Rs. 7.1 cr, Munna Muchael that collected Rs. 6.65 cr, and Heropanti that had collected Rs. 6.63 cr.
Currently, with positive reviews, a wide release and little to no competition expectations are that the business of the film will see immense growth over the weekend.
