The trailer of the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in lead roles, was unveiled on Tuesday in Mumbai. The trailer introduces us to key characters of Kartik’s Rooh Baba and Kiara’s Reet. At the launch, amidst the anticipation, Kiara’s comment about shooting at a haunted mansion and pranks played by Anees Bazmee and Kartik Aaryan left the actor speechless.
Kiara Advani said, “Jab hum shoot kar rahe the Kartik aur Anees sir ne kaafi pranks kiye mujh pe (When we were shooting, Kartik and Anees sir pranked me several times). I think y’all should tell the story. Jab bhi hum shooting karte hai, agar haveli pe shoot ho raha hai so there’s always some story connected that ‘Yahan pe somebody has died. It’s not been open for 20-years or 5o-years wagera wagera’. Toh uska fayda toh inko lena hi tha (Everytime we would shoot at a mansion, there would always be some story connected like ‘Somebody has died here. It’s not been open for 20-years or 5o-years, so and so. He had to take advantage of that.)”
“Can you please rephrase?” a shocked Kartik Aaryan said after hearing the abrupt words, which left the audience in splits. “Let me rephrase. We were shooting. It was 3 at night,” Kiara said, to which Kartik, who was seemingly trying his best to control the situation, was seen laughing when Kiara couldn’t explain her words well.
Meanwhile, the trailer promises a perfect blend of horror and comedy, with lots of scares accompanied by heaps of laughter leaving the moviegoers excited and curious to know more. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani this haunted comedy fest is all set to spook the audience on the 20th of May on the big screens.
