Daler Mehndi leaves netizens in splits as he reacts to a parody post claiming Prince Harry listened to him in “lowest moments”

Ace singer Daler Mehndi is indeed the voice everybody loves to groove on. Every desi party is incomplete without ‘Tunak Tunak’, ‘Bolo Ta Ra Ra’, and more. Recently, the singer made headlines, but not for the announcement of any new song. Instead, the Punjabi singer got brutally trolled as he fell for a parody, which claimed that Prince Harry has written in his recent memoir Spare that he listened to the Indian singer in his lowest moments.

For the unversed, a social media handle by the name of “qualiteaposts” shared a post, which read, “Prince Harry reveals music artist he listened to in his lowest moments in new book ‘Spare’. “In the times I felt alone and separated from my family, I always took time to myself to sit back and listen to Daler Mehndi. His lyrics resonated with me and got me through a lot.”

Reacting to the same, on Friday eve, Daler Mehndi took to his Twitter handle and shared the above post with a caption. He tweeted, “I am grateful to the blessings of Guru Nanak, my mom and dad, I created a unique Pop Folk Ethnic Music Style. Love you Prince Harry! God Bless you, In gratitude that my music helped you. @TeamSussex.”

Daler Mehndi’s innocence left a section of Twiterati in splits. The comments section of his tweet was flooded with laughing emoticons. “Who’s gonna tell him?,” commented a user, while another wrote, “I don’t think we should tell him. This is the cutest acceptance speech ever.” Meanwhile, a section of netizens also came forward to laud Daler’s pop ethnic music as they narrated how it helped them during their “lowest moments.”

It is worth mentioning that the 55-year-old singer has neither taken down the tweet nor shared a follow-up on the same.

Talking about Spare, it is a 416-page-long book, which is an appeal for reconciliation, addressed to Prince Harry’s father and brother.
