This weekend is expected to be a celebratory one with Indians gearing up for Makar Sankranti, Lohri, and Pongal festivities setting in. The Indian film industry too is all set to celebrate these festivals in their own special way. The quintessential Punjabi mundas, the Deols rang in the fun festival of Lohri with the family. Dharmendra, who will soon be seen in the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, celebrated this Punjabi occasion with younger son Bobby Deol as well as his grandsons Aryaman, Karan, and Rajveer Deol. However, his elder son Sunny Deol and his grandson Dharam Deol seem to be missing from this family portrait.
Dharmendra was all smiles and looked super thrilled to be posing with his grandsons. Readers would be aware that Bobby Deol has two sons with wife Tanya Deol, Aryaman, and Dharam Deol. Similarly, Sunny Deol too has two sons with Pooja Deol, Karan, and Rajveer Deol. Bobby, who rarely takes to Instagram, took to the social media post to share this fun moment with the Deol boys and captioned it saying, “Happy Lohri! #HappyLohri #pictureoftheday”. While Sunny was missing from the picture, he reacted to the photo by dropping several heart emojis, showering his love for the photo on the platform.
On the work front, Karan Deol made his debut in Bollywood in 2019 with the film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which was produced by his father Sunny Deol. Coming to Bobby Deol, the actor was last seen in the OTT show Ashram, Season 3. As for Sunny, the actor has films like Gadar 2 with Ameesha Patel, and the multi-starrer Baap in the pipeline. From what we hear, the Deol sons are all set to come together for Apne 2 but there hasn’t been many updates about the film.
