The new label which caught all of our eyes with big hits and quickly became eminent because of it’s consummate artists. Yes, we’re talking about FHigh Music along with their shining star, Bella. FHigh’s founder Ayush Sabat and Bella talk about their upcoming hits and plans for the forthcoming year 2023 in this exclusive Q&A.
We hear gossips about Bella’s new album, how much of that is true?
It is true, something’s been cooking in the pot lately which is going to change the perspective of the audience towards the music. Something that we together through our hardwork have been able to achieve at this point.
Tell us more about this new “surprise”?
This one is going to be more like a conceptual album, as we’ve always tried to make music sound more immersive, this concept is going to engage the listeners and give them a whole new pov.
(Ayush adds) This is one of the best new sounds coming up, with sounds that catch up with what’s trending, it gives the listeners what they want. This album will bring back the “Vintage M-Zee Bella”, featuring tracks with pop/punk vibe and giving fans the magic of Astro and Astra.
What is the name of this “Masterpiece” and when to expect it? Also, feel free to give us some inside information.
For now, the title is yet to be disclosed but it’d be safe to say that you can expect it by early 2023. We’re also in touch with big labels, so yeah, this album might be backed up by a major label.
Tell us more about your plans for the upcoming year?
Not so much as planned but the upcoming year is going to be more industry targetted. There are projects with Universal Music India, Bollywood Hungama and a track is even going to be featured in an upcoming Bollywood film.
There’s always teamwork behind greatness, will you tell us more about your team?
Yes, obviously there are people without whom this would be very difficult to achieve. Audio work is mostly assisted by Bella, Pratyush, Byg Smyle, MC Insane and MC Deep.
Video team has also always stood by our expectations. Abhay Singh, Nitin, Aviket, Ishant, Raunak and Aman do a great job at what they do upon which we can rely as always. Management is greatly handled by Sarvesh, Naman and Yaman.
What about other stars from your label? Are they up to some “surprises” too?
Yes, we can expect an album from MC Insane called House No. 666. Other than that, there are going to be notable projects dropped by Byg Smyle, MC Deep, Thugs From Overseas and Young Nug.
We see a new ticking time bomb waiting to go off. MC Insane, when and how did he came on board?
Our label’s potential and it’s efforts towards artists is not hidden by anyone, and the numbers speak for itself. With proof being in the progress, we welcome gifted artists like MC Insane who are willing to contribute for the cause and make the culture reach to the depths of the country. Insane’s been planning to drop his album, “House no. 666” in the forthcoming year. The album will be carrying an emo vibe inspired by the sounds of the west. Since Insane has always been experimental with sounds, you can expect something fresh and exciting. With his individuality, he will surely captivate the minds of the listeners and give them a whole different personality. Other than Hip Hop, we see artists like Pratyush Dhiman aka PratsOfficial who have a whole different genre, what’s the deal with that?
Aziyat fame Pratyush is an Indie artist in the label, we need more skillful artists like him who can win the listener’s hearts with their lyrics and melodies. New tracks from him are also coming this year with FHigh so prepare yourself for some soulful music.
Talent is all around us especially nowadays where platforms like your label are around. What are the good upcoming artists from your city, Lucknow you have your eyes upon?
Obviously any good talent cannot be overlooked, and we try our best not to let that happen. Artists like Young Nug who recently collaborated with Bella on the song “Celebrate” is one of the best artists from the city. Good artists are coming up faster than you think, Thugs From Overseas Aka TFO is the biggest example of that. After their brilliant 11-track debut mixtape, they are planning to drop singles as well as their new EP is going to be dropped this new year. You should definitely check the young boys out and other music producers like 10A (Tanay) and Alaa Beatz (Ashutosh) are upcoming talents from the city.
You seem like a very interesting person with a lot to achieve. Tell us more about yourself (Ayush) and your plans for this year?
With being a music enthusiast myself, I always found myself intrigued with events related to music and how stuff works in the industry. Since college days, one would always find me involved in college fests, organizing shows and stuff. Maybe that’s where it all started, also being an entrepreneur was always something I wanted to be since my childhood. FHigh Music is now not going to be limited to only music, it’s going to target on making Short Films for OTT Platforms aiming for film festivals. So basically, FHigh is going to be more like a small production house. We are also aiming for big government projects, events (cypher and music shows) and merchandising. Also, we’ll be getting into NFTs and are investing into studios in tier 2 cities.
In the end, how would you elaborate your vision briefly?
Our main goal as a label will always be in the favour of the artist. We are working on upping the distribution game to uplift the artists for them to get the best playlists and for them to be viewed by their target audience.
