Despite having parted ways in real life, the couple has been doling out massive relationship goals, just with their offscreen camaraderie. Sara and Kartik have earned nicknames like ‘Kara’ and ‘Sarkar’ from their fans and the duo is enjoying the social media attention. Speaking to a news portal, Sara stated that she had heard the nickname ‘Kara’ while Kartik added that he has heard nicknames like ‘Karara’ and ‘Sarkar’. Kartik found the tags amusing while Sara stated that all the buzz about their pair before the release is a good thing for ‘Love Aaj Kal’.
‘Love Aaj Kal’ is directed by Imtiaz Ali and features a romantic narrative about Sara and Karitk. Imtiaz directed 2009 release ‘Love Aaj Kal’ starred Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone as the lead. Speaking about Sara and Kartik’s chemistry in the trailer, Saif had told ETimes, “I think it is very interesting. Both of them are tremendously popular actors.
