In the ninth episode of Koffee With Karan 7, the couch brought together two stars who started out as debutants together but have now carved a niche for themselves. This week, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon graced the couch who debuted in Heropanti and are starring in Ganapath. While the actors are reuniting on-screen, there was never a dating rumour about the two stars. Karan Johar had a question about whether there was ever a vibe between them on set.
Karan Johar asked Kriti Sanon, “What I am intrigued about and what I am always intrigued about and it’s really a cardinal rule. You work with your lead actor on your first film and you get into a relationship.” Tiger replied, “She was already taken,” to which Kriti replied, “Excuse me? No, I wasn’t.”
Karan further said, “Is that why you never had a vibe with her? Because there was no reported relationship between Tiger and Kriti?” Tiger went onto explain, “I think both of us were very shy.” Kriti then said, “You know, we exchanged numbers after our first schedule.” Karan Johar once again asked them, “So there was no vibe?” to which Tiger replied, “Even if I tried, I don’t think I would have gone lucky with Kriti. Look at her. I mean, Kriti.”
When asked if she got upset that Tiger never made any advances, Kriti Sanon said, “No, I didn’t get upset. I understood because he was very, very shy. Extremely shy. To the extent, I remember we had this shot in Heropanti where he is supposed to peck me on the cheek and I remember, he was trembling at that point and he was like that aww sweet, you know, like really, really shy but he was friendly on set.”
On the work front, Kriti Sanon has Bhediya with Varun Dhawan, Ganapath with Tiger Shroff and Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan.
