Mohanlal was recently seen in Monster. He has signed a project that has caught the attention of many Mollywood fans. While the superstar enjoys a massive fan following, it seems that the actor has given a special treat to his fans by piquing their curiosity about his next. He has announced his next film with Angamaly Diaries filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellisery and also shared details on social media.
While he did not reveal the title or genre, giving a glimpse into the team of the film, Mohanlal announced his collaboration with Lijo Jose Pellisery on Instagram. Posing for a photo with the Jallikattu filmmaker, Mohanlal captioned the pic with details of his next adding, “I’m delighted to announce that my next project will be with one of the most exciting and immensely talented directors in Indian cinema – Lijo Jose Pellissery. The project will be produced by John and Mary Creative, Max Labs and Century Films. @lijo_lebowski @johnandmary.creative @shibu_babyjohn @centuryfilms.in @achubjohn.”
On the other hand, Lijo too expressed his happiness over joining hands with the megastar by adding a message in Malayalam on Instagram. He said, “(Transl) I am happy to inform the news that the next Lalettan movie will be produced by Mary and John Creative, Max Labs and Century Films. It will be directed by me. Love you all. Happiness. Peace.”
Although the genre hasn’t been revealed, it is being said that the film will be an action entertainer. Interestingly, Mohanlal’s last release Monster too was an action drama. Talking about his forthcoming projects, the superstar is expected to take ahead the franchise of Drishyam with a third instalment and Lucifer with a second instalment. He also recently completed work on Jeetu Joseph’s Ram.
