Ever since Alia Bhatt announced her new film Darlings, fans have been eagerly waiting to see her on the silver screen. This film not only will see her as an actor but will also mark her debut as a producer. Darlings come with a great ensemble including Alia, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Matthew. In fact, the teaser of Darlings had got the audience intrigued. And now Alia is prepared to release the trailer for Darlings today. The actress uploaded several images of herself from the event.
Alia in the pictures can be seen dressed in yellow trapeze short dress in Washed Taffeta. Dress features halter-style neckline with necktie fastening and necktie detail around the collar. Her dress is from the shelves of Valentino and is worth Rs. 1,95,612. Alia dispensed with the accessories and let her dress do the talking. She opted for wavy hair knotted in a low-rise ponytail with a centre-parting and Alia’s makeup comprises a soft nude lipstick, volumizing mascara, and a highlighter. Set in Mumbai, Darlings is set to be a quirky dark comedy that revolves around the lives of a mother-daughter relationship. Shefali Shah will be seen playing Alia Bhatt’s mother in the film whereas Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew will be seen in pivotal roles. The teaser shows a romantic track between Vijay Varma and Alia Bhatt’s characters.
Meanwhile, apart from Darlings, which releases on August 5, Alia is also looking forward to the release of Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra will also star Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy in the lead and will be hitting the screens on September 9, 2022. Alia also has Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh.
