Pregnant Katy Perry enthralls with ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’ performance at ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup Final 2020

American singer-songwriter Katy Perry, days after announcing her pregnancy, headed to Melbourne, Australia to perform at the ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup Final 2020 between India and Australia. The singer wore a female themed ensemble marking the Women’s Day celebration at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Celebrating the female cricket players and women around the world, Katy Perry her hit tracks ‘Roar’ and ‘Firework’ and enthralled the audience with her performance at ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup Final 2020. During the performance, she said, “Hope it’s a girl,” during her song, ‘Wide Awake’ while she pointed out her baby bump. The crowd starting cheering as Katy smiled wife and performed.

Katy Perry, on March 5, announced that she is expecting her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom on the launch of her music video ‘Never Worn White’ from her upcoming album KP5. “There’s a lot that will be happening this summer,” the singer said during an Instagram Q&A. “Not only will I be giving birth, literally but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for.”

“We’re excited and happy and it’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep,” Katy continued. “And I like to tell you guys everything but I knew I would tell you in the best way, which is through a piece of music because that’s, I guess that’s how I speak to you. That’s how we speak together to each other.”

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year. The actor already has a son from his first marriage with Miranda Kerr.
