Quick tips for recreating Shanaya Kapoor’s immaculate summer make-up look

The Bollywood starlet, who is an avid Instagram user, made sure to update her profile just before Monday arrived, and in the process, set some truly amazing makeup goals. Shanaya’s most recent Instagram post featured her showcasing a perfect summer make-up look to master. Here’s how you can recreate it:

After applying primer and moisturizing, apply foundation to the centre of your face, which is prone to redness and pimples. Apply a dab on each side of your nose, the centre of your forehead, and the tip of your chin, and blend outwards. To avoid streaks, press it into the skin. Then, on spots that require apply a creamy concealer.

Dip a large, fluffy powder brush into a silky-setting powder and use it to apply the powder. Then, using your fingertips, lightly sweep it across your face, concentrating on your T-zone, chin, and beneath your nose.

For Shanaya’s brows, use an eyebrow product to create tiny strokes that mirror your natural hairs. Use a brow powder with an angled brush to fill in any gaps with a brow powder. To keep your brows in place, use a brow gel.

For the eyes, use an eye-shadow base to prime your lids. Then, to contour your eye sockets, use a medium brown colour. Use a smidgeon of it along the lash line as well. Then, using a flat shade brush, apply a sparkly gold colour on your lids. Apply a champagne gold colour to the inner corner to brighten it and make it stand out.

Warm up your face with a bronzer. Apply a cream highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones, the peak of your forehead, the tip of your nose, and the cupid’s bow, where natural sunlight would reach your skin, for luminous skin in photos. If you want to go for a more dramatic look, use a powder highlighter on your cheeks.

Use a peachy cream blush on the parts of your cheeks that appear the roundest. More depth can be added by blending upwards along the cheekbones.

Shade the corners of your lips with a super-sharp lip pencil. To the centre, apply a little lighter glossy lipstick hue, then blend it outwards.
