Before the release, Pathaan was all about Shah Rukh Khan and his comeback. However, post its release, a section of moviegoers set the internet on fire as the teaser of Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was also attached to Pathaan. On top of it, Salman also played a cameo in the spy thriller. When asked to predict Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s box office collection, Shah Rukh Khan gave a witty reply.
For the unversed, it all happened during the recent #AskSRK session on Twitter. On February 4, SRK dropped a tweet, which read, “Oh wow, weekend upon us again. Should be working but have a late call….so thought will catch up with some queries. If u have any. Go ahead #AskSRK ( also no marriage proposals today as I have a cold..just saying ha ha ).” Among many questions regarding Pathaan, a fan asked King Khan to share his box office prediction on Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
In his one-line response, Shah Rukh replied, “Bhai ki picture hai…dekhna toh laazmi hai (It’s Bhai’s film, we have to watch it).” Reacting to his answer, a fan wrote, “Seeing you and @BeingSalmanKhan on the same screen together in a film, was nothing but pure joy and such a treat! In Shaa Allah can’t wait for you both to do more films together,” while another quipped, “So sweet,” followed by a red-heart emoticon.
After a couple of hours, Shah Rukh bid adieu to his fans and tweeted, “Now I should end #AskSRK otherwise all will feel I am workless!! Gotta look busy everyone. Thank u for your time and have a good weekend. I am going to watch #Pathaan oops I mean I am going for hard work. Love u all.”
Speaking of KKBKKJ, helmed by Farhad Samji, the upcoming Salman Khan starrer is full of action, comedy, drama and romance. It is expected to arrive on Eid 2023.
