According to early estimates, Thank God has collected in the range of Rs. 5.75 to 6.35 crore, taking the two-day total to Rs 14.25 crore, which is below the mark for a Diwali release featuring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh.
After a low start, the hope was on Thank God to stay at the same level on the second day to have some shot at putting up some respectable numbers in the long run, but this drop has now curtailed all the chances of it succeeding until and unless there is a miraculous turn of events in the days to come.
A total of Rs. 75 crore will be a respectable result for Thank God given the results, and the trend in the next 2 days will clear what is in store for this Indra Kumar directorial. What’s surprising is also the fact that Thank God is not doing well in comedy-friendly markets like Gujarat and Rajasthan among others.
