NCT’s Haechan to temporarily halt activities and skip NCT 127’s tour due to health concerns

South Korean pop group NCT’s subunit member Haechan is taking a break due to health concerns. “Haechan has been experiencing deteriorating health conditions and recently visited the hospital after experiencing breathing problems, where he was recommended by the doctor to take a rest,” the artist’s agency said in a post uploaded on the Kwangya Club fan community service, according to Korea JoongAng Daily.

“As it is most important that Haechan recovers his best condition, he will be taking time off from the coming week.” Moreover, SM Entertainment also announced on that Haechan will not be participating in the NCT 127’s second tour ‘NEO CITY: USA & LATIN AMERICA – THE LINK.’

Haechan is a member of two subunits of NCT: NCT 127 and NCT Dream. The USA/Latin America concerts will continue as scheduled with eight members. Meanwhile, NCT Dream recently dropped EP “Candy” on December 16.

NCT 127 is gearing up for the release of their repackaged version of its fourth full-length album Ay-Yo on January 30.
