Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has been constantly in the headlines ever since the makers of his upcoming film, Pathaan, dropped its teaser. While a section of society is criticising the film even before its release, many are excited to see their star on the big screen again! Amid all this, Shah Rukh hosted a light-hearted #AskSRK session on his Twitter handle. Among many others, his interesting answers have caught actress Alia Bhatt’s attention as well.
During the session, a fan asked SRK why does Alia Bhatt call him “SR”. Dropping a smart response for the same, Khan wrote, “Could mean sweet& romantic or maybe senior & respected or maybe just shah rukh.” His answer indeed left a section of his fans impressed. Meanwhile, it gave her an opportunity to Alia Bhatt to show her creativity.
The Highway actress re-shared the tweet and added, “More like sweet and respected 🙂 / But from 25th Jan I’m going to switch to calling you Pathaan (fire and red heart emojis).” She further added, “See I’m so creative na.” For the unversed, Alia and Shah Rukh shared the screen space in the 2016 release, Dear Zindagi.
Coming to their respective, professional front, Alia was last seen in Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. She recently embraced motherhood and will be making a comeback on the screen with the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which is slated to release on April 28 this year.
On the other hand, SRK is all set for Pathaan, which is scheduled to release on January 25. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
