With several changes being introduced in the new season of Bigg Boss, contestants definitely seem to have a challenging game ahead. Also, season 16 will see a lot of Bigg Boss master being in control of the house. With Weekend Ka Vaar around the corner, contestants are gearing up for nominations and eviction. On a funnier note, we recently came across a video footage of contestant Shalin Bhanot on the show where the Kulvadhu actor was seen chit-chatting with his co-contestants Tina Dutta and Gautam Vig as he recalled an incident with his sister living in Australia. And interestingly, his conversation reminded us of every Indian brother ever.
Bigg Boss is not only known for its nasty fights but also for some great friendships and in Bigg Boss 16, we’ve witnessed some new friendships blossom inside the house. Amongst them is Shalin Bhanot. Although he seems to have struck a chord with many, he was recently seen bonding with Uttaran actress Tina Dutta and Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 actor Gautam Vig. In an unseen footage that was posted on his official Instagram page, Shalin is heard sharing an interesting family story that many of us will resonate with.
The actor said, “I was in Australia to celebrate Rakhi. I flew from Melbourne to meet my sister who is based out of Adelaide. On Rakshabandhan, I took her out shopping & offered to pay for anything that she likes. My sister was thrilled and was as excited as a five-year-old kid even though she is a mother of two. While I was busy spending time with my nephew and niece, my sister picked out a bag. I told her she can buy whatever she wants. I was all okay with her purchase until I saw the tag and converted it to INR. I realized it was for a whopping Rs. 4 lakhs. I was like, I am not going to be here anymore. I told my sister to come out of the store.” The conversation left both Tina and Gautam in splits. The two actors could relate to the story and according to us, most the brothers in India can.
Bigg Boss 16 airs on Colors from Monday to Friday at 10 pm and every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm.
