Politician and popular social media celebrity Sonali Phogat, who was also known for her stint in Bigg Boss, passed away on Monday night after she suffered a cardiac arrest. As per media reports, the politician-influencer was in Goa for work commitments. On Monday, she complained of uneasiness and her staff immediately admitted her in the hospital.
Reportedly, Sonali Phogat was in Goa for a two-day shoot. BJP politician Capt Bhupender Singh, president of Hisar District confirmed about Sonali’s Goa details in his statement given to News18 reports saying, “Sonali ji was in Goa. I spoke to her assistant and he said that she died of a heart attack”. If these reports are to be believed, the post-mortem is currently being conducted and parents of the politician too will be flying down from Haryana to Goa to retrieve the body.
For the uninitiated, Sonali Phogat rose to fame with her Tiktok videos and later appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss 14. She also contested elections from Adampur Constituency against Kuldeep Bishnoi. She also has 881K fan following on Instagram and she is often seen sharing videos and photos from events and travel. Her latest post was shared on Monday night where she uploaded a series of photos and video of her in a pink turban.
On the other hand, speaking of her personal life, her husband passed away in 2016. He was found dead in a farmhouse.
