South Korean female pop sensation BLACKPINK have achieved a milestone by grabbing six more Guinness World Record titles!

As reported by Korea JoongAng Daily, BLACKPINK has been listed as the first female K-pop group to simultaneously top the albums charts in both the U.S. and U.K. with its second studio album Born Pink, dropped in 2022.

The quartet also won the Best Metaverse Performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, with its single “Ready For Love” featured in the video game PUBG Mobile. Additionally, member Lisa’s flourishing solo career has added on to the group’s record titles.

Group member Lisa has set three new world records last year, the Guinness World Records said Tuesday. “Guinness World Records can confirm that in 2022, Lisa achieved three more record titles to add to her collection,” it said. BLACKPINK is also the band with most subscribers on YouTube.

BLACKPINK formerly held the record for most-viewed video on YouTube. Within 24 hours, the group’s 2020 single “How You Like That” held the title of the most viewed video before BTS broke the record with their 2020 hit song “Dynamite” (2020).
