Jackie Shroff requests UP CM Yogi Adityanath to reduce the price of popcorn in theatres

Jackie Shroff is the kind of actor who can lighten up anything and anyone’s mood. A recent video shot at a press conference, Jackie requests CM Yogi Adityanath to reduce the price of popcorn in theatres. The audience ended up laughing to this concern of the actor.

In the video, Jackie is seen welcoming Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and then proceeds to communicate his concern. He is seen offering homemade food to the CM. He then put forward his request to Yogi Adityanath, i.e., to reduce the price of popcorn in the theatre along with reducing the quantity of it as no one can actually eat that much. This led to the crowd erupting in laughter. The actor further added that a film watching experience should be affordable for anyone. He concluded by saying thanks to the CM and inviting him for a meal again.

In order to invite investors, Yogi reached Mumbai, where he also talked to the personalities of the film industry. Yogi Adityanath addressed the producers and directors of the film industry. Big film personalities like Boney Kapoor, Sonu Nigam, Sunil Shetty, Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Madhur Bhandarkar and Rajkumar Santoshi attended the event. Everyone appreciated the work of CM Yogi and said that now a good environment is being created in UP for shooting of films. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss shooting and investment prospects in Noida Film City. Also, Yogi Adityanath announced subsidies to lure filmmakers and producers to the state.

On the professional front, Jackie Shroff was last seen in Phone Bhoot, starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. He will be next seen in Baap, starring alongside Mithun Chakraborty, Sunny Deol, and Sanjay Dutt.
