Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are currently busy with Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal. A source from ETimes publication has exclusively learnt that the actor has put on his dancing shoes for the rehearsals of a couple song. Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari was also said to attend the rehearsals at Octopus Studios in Andheri with choreographers Bosco and Caesar. Janhvi Kapoor is also rehearsing her steps and is expected to join Varun Dhawan in a couple of days.
In August last year, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor wrapped the film’s last schedule in Poland. Sharing a video to Instagram, the makers captioned, “Humne macha diya hain har jaga BAWAAL! Wrapping up the film in Ajju Bhaiyya Style! Agla Bawaal hoga theatres mein 7 April 2023 ko.”
Speaking about collaborating with Nitesh Tiwari, Janhvi had told PTI, “Nitesh sir has really spoiled me. Working with him was such a dream. He has such clarity and has got the world’s wisdom to offer. He is the most dignified man I have ever met. I was in awe of him as a director and as a person. And when a director like him believes in me to cast me in his film and when I perform for him, and he says the take is good. The belief made me believe in myself a lot more.”
Talking about the professional front, Varun has bunch of projects in his pipeline for 2023. The actor was last seen in Bhediya, oppoiste Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee. It was a horror comedy film, helmed by Amar Kaushik. The actor has signed Russo Brothers’ series Citadel. He will headline the Indian leg of the multi-series that will be directed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is reuniting with Roohi co-star Rajkummar Rao in Mr and Mrs. Mahi.
