Kangana Ranaut begins filming last schedule of Emergency in Mumbai; shares a pic from the set

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has an interesting line-up for the coming year with a bunch of projects slated to release in 2023. Among others, is Emergency, which is creating buzz these days. After wrapping the Assam schedule of the project, the actress has now started filming for its last schedule in Mumbai.

Interestingly, the Queen actress took to her verified social media account and shared the update with her fans. She posted a photo on the story section of her Instagram handle. The image featured two crewmembers setting the camera position.

Captioning the photo, Ranaut wrote, “Let’s do this… #emergency last schedule begins in Mumbai…” She also tagged the official Instagram handle of her production banner, Manikarnika Films. Kangana is not only playing the lead in the upcoming film but also producing and directing it.

For the unversed, as the title suggests, Emergency will trace the story of a pivotal moment in India’s political history. Along with Kangana, veteran actor Anupam Kher will also play the role of revolutionary leader JP Narayan in the film. Meanwhile, the ensemble star cast of the film will also feature Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman and Mahima Chowdhary in prominent roles.

The Simran actress had wrapped the Assam schedule a couple of weeks back. Making the announcement of the same, she had shared a bunch of unseen photos from the sets. Before starting her shoot schedule in Assam, the Bollywood diva had extended her gratitude towards the CM of Assam with a social media post.

“Such a delight to meet Honourable Chief Minister Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma ji…. He extended his support for our team as we begin our outdoor schedule very soon in various locations across Assam …Such an honour and privilege to get his support and encouragement,” she wrote in her caption.
