On World Wildlife Day, Raveena Tandon urges us to take charge of mother nature

On the 3rd of March, International World Wildlife Day is observed across the world as we vouch to protect and nurture our wildlife resource while also trying to sustain a lifestyle that does not destroy their habitation. Actor Raveena Tandon, who is an active advocate of an environmental friendly, sustainable lifestyle, posted a note, urging everyone to do their bit towards wildlife conservation.

“It’s time we take charge of the situation and do our bit for mother nature. Now more than ever, we need to save the green cover of our cities,” her post read. This is particularly relevant at a time when we do not have a long time to undo the environmental damages, and it is already striking a number of crisis. “This #WorldWildlifeDay, I urge each one of you to step up and save the planet. It’s the best gift we can give to our future generation. Sharing few images from my trips which u exhibited, and all the proceeds were sent towards animal welfare. Do your bit, today!,” she adds.

Apart from her, actor Dia Mirza also posted on Instagram, encouraging all of us to celebrate the unique biodiversity as well as educate ourselves about the plight that some of them are facing.

Randep Hooda also shared a message, calling out to all to save mother nature.
