While Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma have been spotted together on social events and exchange pleasantries on Twitter, the two do not have any plans of working together for now. On Wednesday, Sunil Grover took to Twitter to share an old video of his act from the show. In the video, he is performing as his famous character Dr Mashoor Gulati on the song Gerua from the film Dilwale. Watching his performance, the cast of Dilwale including Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Varun Sharma clapped and cheered for Sunil and in the end, Shah Rukh went and hugged him.
Re-tweeting the video shared by a fan, Sunil wrote, “Somehow this makes me emotional whenever I see it.”
Soon after fans of the comedian flooded the comment section requesting him to make a comeback on the show.
Meanwhile, today Sunil Grover took to Twitter to wish Kapil Sharma on his birthday. “Happy birthday pah ji. Wish you a long and happy life. Keep giving the world this medicine called laughter,” he tweeted.
