Adele reveals she’s suffering from really bad sciatica during Las Vegas concert – “I have to waddle these days”

Music icon Adele opened up about her health struggle that has been impacting her during her recent Las Vegas concert and why she as to ‘waddle these days.’ According to Entertainment Weekly, the singer, who kicked off her Weekends With Adele concerts in November, revealed during the concert that she suffers from intense back pain that makes it difficult for her to walk during her New Year’s Eve performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

“I have a waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica,” she said during her Las Vegas residency show over the weekend. In a video shared by several fans over social media, the “Rolling In The Deep” singer can be seen hobbling across the stage as after interacting with an audience member. Previously in an interview with The Face in 2021, Adele talked about how she struggled with back issues since she was a teenager.

“I slipped my first disc when I was 15 from sneezing,” she said. “I was in bed and I sneezed and my fifth one flew out. In January, I slipped my sixth one, my L6. And then where I had a C-section, my core was useless. … I’ve been in pain with my back for, like, half of my life, really. It flares up, normally due to stress or from a stupid bit of posture.”

Sciatica is a condition characterized by sharp and intense pain that affects the sciatic nerve in the body and can cause serious discomfort and pain in the lower back, hips, and thighs.

Despite such health struggles, the 34-year-old British musician has been making headlines with her sold-out concert shows, performing her chart-buster songs like “Set Fire to the Rain,” “Hello,” “I Drink Wine,” and “Rolling in the Deep.”
