Indian films and shows have always explored characters hailing from different regions. But actor Sai Ketan Rao will be playing a unique character in his upcoming show. Named Raunak Reddy, his character will be a rare mix of half Delhiite and half Hyderabadi.
As per the latest update from the makers, the yet-untitled TV show will be based in Amritsar and it will be a love story and a revenge drama where Sai will be playing the main lead. While the name of the show is not revealed yet, the makers have said that Sai will be seen sharing the screen with actress Amandeep Sidhu. The show is being shot in Mumbai and Amritsar since the third week of December.
The makers have said that Sai is “enjoying shooting for the show though it is a new working environment, but it is always a pleasure to work with a new team as it helps an individual to develop better acting skills.”
Apart from Hindi TV shows, Sai has also worked in quite a few south projects. He started his professional life by working with an Australian firm but he always wanted to be an actor. Soon enough, he got his big break as the lead in the TV show Agnisakshi in 2017. He also runs a production house with the name Aurum Motion Pictures.
